Think your commute is bad now? Add a million more people to the equation and we might have a transportation meltdown! We need a plan that will keep DURHAM REGION moving, make public transportation faster and more reliable, cut traffic and reduce air pollution and global warming emissions. And now we have that plan: a modified congestion pricing program. Tell our Durham Transit Commission to pass congestion pricing and reduce traffic, cut commute times, and fund public transportation across all neighborhoods. The intention of this petition and purpose is to hopefully educate the viewer and the reader of this web site throughout, Durham region especially the low income families, the middle class income families the senior citizens, the physical challenge as well as the handicapped throughout the various communities under the umbrella of Durham region.
